Chalet La Fontaine has had an extensive renovation and is a beautiful catered chalet in an idyllic location of Chatel close to the lifts and the center of the main village.
Chalet La Fontaine has just been renovated to an exceptional high standard and has four en-suite bedrooms catering up to 8 adults and two children. The chalet boasts a large hot tub overlooking the mountains, a log fire burner and all modern facilities including wifi and Netflix TV.
This luxury chalet in Chatel features a large, open plan dining room and a lounge with a rustic and charming log fire. The warmth of the chalet is supported by the under floor heating to ensure that cosy feel. Views of the mountains are breath taking from the chalet.
With Wi-Fi throughout the chalet, you will be able to keep in touch with the outside world. Chalet Fontaine is beautifully presented for the ultimate relaxing holiday and we guarantee it is a chalet you’ll be returning to year after year. Chalet La Fontaine is situated a short walk from the village of Chatel. Transfers to/from Geneva airport are available and we can arrange these at €200 each way for your group. We also help make arrangements for ski hire, ski passes and any group lessons. Contact us for local Private ski instructors. This will all be done for your arrival, so all you have to think about is enjoying yourself.

The top floor has three very spacious en-suite bedrooms. The bathrooms are excellently finished with stunning walk in showers. One of these rooms is a family room with bunk beds or otherwise the other rooms are very spacious and decorated with beautiful old wood. The bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with egyptian cotton linen, fluffy towels and hair dryers.
We have provision for storing your skis and boots, a boot warmer, as well as facilities for getting your kit dry for the next day should it become wet at any stage. Each morning the timer is set to warm your boots, so you go to the slopes with that glowing sensation. The chalet has Sky TV, Blue tooth stereos, iPod station and Wi-Fi.
‘Is it really a ski holiday if you do not have a Hot tub at your chalet?’
The outdoor Jacuzzi Hot Tub will ensure you are able to unwind at the end of a great day’s skiing, cycling, climbing or whichever activity you choose, summer or winter. Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible, so we will accommodate any requests where we can. Whilst we deliver great wines to you during dinner which is included, we also provide an honesty bar should you wish to continue drinking later or perhaps you wish to take a bottle of prosecco to the hot tub after skiing.
Your evening meal is something we pride ourselves on which is highly commented on in our 5* Tripadvisor reviews. We are prepared for all dietary requirements, although we may ask for a small supplement from individuals to contribute to the additional purchase of food.
Your freshly prepared dining experience will be a minimum of 4 courses and may consist of the following:
- Canapes or nibbles with drinks
- Starter – Freshly made soups, fresh made chicken liver pate and salad, fresh made quiche
- Mains Course – Beef Bourginon, Tartiflette, Pork Filet Mignon, Confit de Canard, Thai/Indian Curry with breads
- Desert – Crème Brulee, Profiteroles, Tirimasu, Fruit crumble and ice cream
- Coffee/Tea taken in the lounge by the log fire
We will arrange your ski passes, so they are waiting at the chalet for you
